FROM OUR PRESIDENT -As we move through August, I hope everyone is finding opportunities to enjoy the best that summer has to offer. This season has certainly reminded us that nature can be both beautiful and unpredictable. Across much of Canada, smoke from the ongoing forest fires has affected our skies, our outdoor plans, and, for many, our health. Despite these challenges, the spirit of our PROBUS community remains strong. While we may have had to adjust some outdoor plans, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Later in the month, we also had the opportunity to step inside an Amazon fulfillment centre. It was like entering a city dedicated entirely to moving products. Given popular demand, another tour is scheduled for September. Arranged by one of our dedicated volunteers; they are the engine that drives our Club. Looking ahead, September and October promise to be especially busy months as we continue planning new activities and preparing for our Annual General Meeting Enjoy the remainder of your summer, stay safe, stay active, and I look forward to seeing everyone in August. |

Our goal is to provide fellowship, friendship and enjoyment for people in their retirement and semi-retirement years. We thrive through the engagement and participation of our members. You’ll find a wealth of new experiences and a much-expanded network of friends. We have interesting guest speakers and a broad range of group activities and social events.
The organization is non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making and non-fundraising. Speakers and operating costs are covered by our annual membership dues. Additional fees may be charged for special events and group activities.

MONTHLY MEETINGSMeetings are held at Markland Wood Golf Club unless advised otherwise. MAPS AND MORE. Pre-registration is required. Space permitting, registered Guests are welcome when accompanied by a Member.
