We currently have room on our Waiting List. If you would like to join The Probus Club of Etobicoke, please enter your email address in the window below (scroll  down). Note:  if you are a couple, a separate application must be submitted for each applicant with a different email address for each applicant. 

Please familiarize yourself with the following prior to submitting your application. 

Our current membership is limited to 315 people and we have a waiting list. Membership renewals happen on September 30 of each year and at that time we have some positions available for new members to join, which in turn opens up spaces on our waiting list. In the normal course, this application to join our waiting list is opened up to potential members on November 1st. When our waiting list is full this application will be taken down until such time as room is available.

There is an application fee of $25 to join our waitlist. This is renewed in September of each year. Our Waiting List Members are encouraged to participate in as many events as they are interested in, but priority does go to our full Members. Between April and September of this year our waiting list members participated in a wide variety of our activities.

• Waiting List members attended monthly meetings 70 times
• 29 participated in our Big Screen, Wine, Quiz, Lunch Bunch and Romeo Groups
• 25 participated in local Toronto events such as Mimico Yacht Club Lunch, Tea at the Legislature and Day at the Races to name a few
• 7 attended musical and theatre events
• 6 participated in a Winery Tour
• 3 participated in our Pickleball Group

Full members are retired or semi-retired. It is understood that Members will adhere to the Probus Etobicoke Constitution. Bylaws and Policies.

Shortly after application completion and payment, our Membership Director will reach out to you to answer any questions you may have.

Generally speaking, Waiting List Members are invited to become full Members in the order they joined the waiting list. When you are invited to join as a Full Member, the annual fee $95 must be paid, and the last Renewal Fee of $25  will be used to purchase your personalized Probus Name Tag.
